It is my first time to hear mass in this chapel. I did not expect that there is one on the 5th floor of Landmark Department Store in Makati City. Who would have thought there exists a beautiful and solemn chapel on the top floor? No wonder a lot of people were continuously going up the escalator without stopping to look and shop for items.
I just happen to browse over the mass schedules of churches in the city, and voila! Mary Mother of Hope Chapel appeared on the screen. I thought it was apt for me. Perhaps a certain calling….Hope! Exactly what I need.
I am not sure why it’s called a chapel. Possibly, it might be due to its location which was inside a building. But judging by the size of it, it seemed like a medium-sized church. There was even an adoration chapel found on the same floor.
Please pardon me if this seemed like old news but for me, it’s a great discovery. A perfect timing. I am glad to have spent my recent Eucharistic celebration here. Makes one think that God indeed works in mysterious ways.
